NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR OFFICE VISIT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE, PAYMENT, or ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
The VanStone Injury Law Giveaway is sponsored and administered solely by VanStone Injury Law (“Sponsor”).
The giveaway is open only to legal residents of the State of Michigan who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Current and former employees of VanStone Injury Law are not eligible to enter or win. The giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law. If you are a current client of VanStone Injury Law, you may enter, but if the giveaway interferes with a current or future Michigan Rule of Professional Conduct, the prize may be either voided or withheld until the conclusion of representation in order to conform with the Rules of Professional Conduct.
VanStone Injury Law conducts four separate quarterly giveaway periods during each calendar year:
Eligible participants may submit one entry during each quarterly giveaway period using the entry method provided by VanStone Injury Law. No purchase, payment, retention of VanStone Injury Law, consultation with an attorney, or appearance at any VanStone Injury Law office or other place of business is required to enter or win.
One prize will be awarded for each quarterly giveaway period. The prize will have an approximate retail value of $500 and will consist of either:
(a) one $500 Meijer gift card; or (b) one $500 gas gift card to a branded gas station, as designated by VanStone Injury Law for the applicable giveaway.
A total of four prizes are anticipated to be awarded during each calendar year. Prizes may not be redeemed for cash from VanStone Injury Law. Any applicable taxes, fees, or other obligations resulting from acceptance or use of a prize are the responsibility of the winner.
Meijer, Inc., and any gas station, fuel retailer, gift-card issuer, or other company whose name or trademark appears on a prize, is not a sponsor of, affiliated with, associated with, or responsible for the administration of this giveaway unless expressly stated otherwise.
All company names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are referenced solely to identify the applicable prize.
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during each quarterly giveaway period. The drawing will take place during the calendar month immediately following the conclusion of the applicable giveaway period.
Accordingly, drawings will occur during April, July, October, and January for the immediately preceding quarterly giveaway period.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable giveaway period.
VanStone Injury Law may contact a potential winner using the telephone number, text-message number, email address, or other contact information provided with the entry. A potential winner may be required to verify eligibility and provide information reasonably necessary to deliver the prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts, is determined to be ineligible, declines the prize, or fails to satisfy the requirements of these Official Rules, VanStone Injury Law may select an alternate winner at random.
By entering, participants authorize VanStone Injury Law to contact them by telephone, text message, and/or email when reasonably necessary to administer the giveaway, including confirming an entry, verifying eligibility, notifying a potential winner, and arranging delivery of a prize.
These administrative communications are separate from consent to receive advertising or marketing communications.
Participants may separately choose to receive marketing or promotional communications from VanStone Injury Law. Consent to receive marketing calls, text messages, or emails is not required to enter or win the giveaway, obtain legal services, or retain VanStone Injury Law. A participant’s decision not to consent to marketing communications will not affect the validity of an otherwise eligible giveaway entry or the participant’s chances of winning.
Participants who separately consent to marketing communications may receive information concerning VanStone Injury Law, legal services, future giveaways, promotions, events, and other informational or promotional matters in accordance with the consent provided. Participants may withdraw marketing consent using the opt-out methods provided in those communications.
Participation in the giveaway, submission of an entry, provision of contact information, receipt of communications from VanStone Injury Law, or receipt of a prize does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not constitute a request for legal representation.
Giveaway entrants should not submit confidential, privileged, or time-sensitive information concerning a potential legal matter through a giveaway entry form or in response to promotional communications. An attorney-client relationship with VanStone Injury Law is established only through a separate written agreement for legal representation.
VanStone Injury Law reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant and to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, submitted through improper means, violates these Official Rules, or otherwise interferes with the fair administration of the giveaway.
VanStone Injury Law reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate a giveaway if fraud, technical problems, events beyond its reasonable control, or other circumstances materially impair the integrity, security, fairness, or proper administration of the giveaway.
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the reasonable decisions of VanStone Injury Law regarding the administration of the giveaway.
